Weeki Wachee Christian Camp

"Heaven is under our feet, as well as above our heads." Henry David Thoreau's Walden, part memoir and part spiritual journey, was written to encourage men to live lives of simplicity and renew a spirit of contemplation and connection with the world around us. He could very well have written about Weeki Wachee Christian Camp for not only is it a place of amazing beauty, but also serves as a constant reminder of our need to walk in fear and wonder with the creator of both heaven above and the earth beneath.

We want to provide a place where young people can strive for more than this world can offer. We want them to learn that we are spiritual beings in a physical world.

The world our young people know is fast-paced, never-ending. We are seeking to provide a quiet place away from worldly pleasures.

Growing closer to God is at the forefront of our purpose. We long for each person that is involved with WWCC to embrace a loving heart for God.
