1. We believe that being a child of God involves living lives by teachings of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as contained in the New Testament scriptures.
2. We believe that each individual has the ultimate responsibility for understanding and applying God’s Word to his life.
3. We believe that the Bible, as inspired by God, is inerrant and reveals God’s will for man throughout history and the different Biblical covenants.
4. We believe the Bible to be inspired by the Holy Spirit in the original manuscripts and to be the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
5. We believe that God is the Creator of heaven and earth and all that is in them; God is our creator, we are created in the image of God.
6. We believe that even though created in the image of God, all of us sin and fall short of the glory of God.
7. We believe that God loves us and has continually worked toward our redemption since sin first entered the world. That God’s grace toward us springs from love and desire for us, culminating in giving His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, as an atoning sacrifice to reconcile us to Him.
8. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin and lived as a man.
9. We believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and arose from the grave.
10. We believe that Jesus ascended into heaven. That Christ has been given all authority in heaven and earth; that Christ is on the right hand of God.
11. We believe in the resurrection of the saved to eternal life and the unsaved to eternal separation from God.
12. We believe that redemption is in Christ Jesus and only Him.
13. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith.
14. We believe that baptism (immersion) is for the remission of sins.
15. We are members of the church, The Body and Bride of Christ, consisting only of born-again believers.
16. We believe Christ’s Great Commission to the church: to go into all the world, preach the gospel to every person, baptize, and teach those who believe.
17. We believe marriage is ordained of God and is a spiritual and physical union in which a man and a woman are joined by God to live together as one.
18. We believe that God created each person as distinctively male or female in conformity with their biological sex. These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God.
19. We believe that men and women are spiritually equal in position before God, but that God has ordained distinct and separate spiritual functions for men and women in the home and the church. The husband is to be the leader of the home, and men are to be the leaders of the church.
